Day-by-Day Mountain Itinerary
Manali Arrival & Acclimatization
Arrive in Manali. Check into riverside chalet. Meet Rahul and brief on mountain road protocols. Stroll through Old Manali.
Manali to Kaza via Atal Tunnel & Kunzum Pass
Early departure. Cross Atal Tunnel into Lahaul valley. Ascend Kunzum Pass (4,551m) and enter Spiti. Arrive at Kaza by evening.
Key Monastery, Kibber & Chicham Bridge
Visit the 1000-year Key Monastery. Explore Kibber village and cross the dramatic Chicham bridge over a 1,000-foot gorge.
Highest Post Office (Hikkim), Komic & Langza
Mail a postcard home from Hikkim (4,440m). Visit Komic monastery and photograph the giant Buddha statue facing snow peaks in Langza.
Dhankar Monastery & Pin Valley
Drive to Dhankar fortress monastery perched on cliff edge. Explore the red-rock landscapes of Pin Valley National Park.
Kaza to Chandratal Moon Lake Camping
Drive across Losar to Chandratal Lake (4,250m). Short scenic walk to the turquoise waters. Overnight glamping in Swiss dome tents.
Chandratal to Manali Return
Witness golden sunrise over Chandratal. Descend through Batal and Rohtang/Atal corridor back to Manali. Farewell dinner.
Departure
Breakfast in Manali. Drop to bus station or airport with lifelong memories.
